Step-by-Step Guide to Capturing Professional-Grade Property Images
1. Camera Setup for Real Estate Shots:
Step 1.
Press the menu button and then navigate to 6th tab of camera setting. Where you will find the exposure level increments.
Step 2:
Change it to 1/3.
Set the exposure level increments to 1/3 for optimal lighting.
Step 3:
Change Number of Bracketed shots to 5.
Step 4:
Change the Bracketing sequence to 0-+
Step 5:
Go to the first tab inside the second option where you can find Exposure compensation.
Please select it.
Step 6:
Scroll the button to set the exposure compensation. Make sure you choose the increments of 1. The final should be -2 -1 0 1 2
Step 7:
Change the image quality to RAW. Raw provides the most details, which will help in post-production.
Step 8:
Press the set button and change the Drive mode to High speed sync.
Step 9:
Make sure the screen looks like the one below and shows all the necessary details.
Step 10:
Set the camera to Aperture Priority Mode ( Av). Choose the Aperture as F10. Use ISO 800 for Interior shots, ISO 100 for Sunny days, and ISO 200 for Cloudy and overcast conditions.
Step 11:
Now, Connect your smartphone with your Canon camera to shoot remotely.
Step 12:
Make sure your canon camera is connected and the pairing is successful.
Step 13:
Click on Shoot to shoot using your smartphone.
Step 14:
Press and hold the button until all the 5 exposures are shot.
